ISO 27001 (Information Security Management)

The ISO 27001 code of practice used by the Omni-Assistant is recognized as the premier information security management system (ISMS) standard around the world.

Omni-Assistant also makes use of the security best practices detailed in ISO 27001. Our third-party data centers undergo regular ISO 27001 audits to verify their security practices. We regularly review the results of these audits - or perform vendor security reviews if an audit report is not available - as part of our information security management program.

Data centers

Omni-Assistant systems are hosted at third-party data centers located at several locations. These providers are responsible for the physical, environmental, and operational security controls that comprise the Omni-Assistant infrastructure. We are responsible for the logical, network, and application security of the Omni-Assistant infrastructure proprietary equipment hosted at these data centers.

Privacy Policy

Omni-Assistant is 100% committed to the principle that any information provided to us by our customers is private. We will never sell, rent, share, or otherwise disclose your information to anyone. Period.

Encryption of data in transit

Omni-Assistant uses Transport Layer Security (TLS 1.2+) for data transfer, creating a secure tunnel protected by the 256-bit Advanced Encryption Standard (AES).

Encryption of data at rest

Our enterprise-grade storage units use FIPS 140-2 validated encryption maintaining at all times an AES-256 data-at-rest encryption.


Encryption of data fields

To further protect your sensitive data, Omni-Assistant can encrypt specific data columns within the database using the 256-bit Advanced Encryption Standard (AES). This level of encryption is recommended for customers that intend to capture Protected Health Information (PHI) and/or Personally Identifiable Information (PII). This encryption is available to Enterprise customers and those subscribed to the Omni-Bunker service.


The Omni-Assistant team will sign business associate agreements (BAAs) with Omni-Assistant Enterprise customers who require them in order to comply with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health Act (HITECH).

Up to 99.995% Availability. Guaranteed.

In order to ensure optimal system availability, all critical components and functions of Omni-Assistant are duplicated and/or fault tolerant. This means that the Omni-Assistant will continue to operate properly in the event of the failure of any of its components.

Omni-Assistant customers that subscribe to the Omni-Bunker service benefit from:

  • An availability guarantee of 99.995% - a maximum 30 minutes downtime per year
  • Recovery Point Objective (RPO) of 2 minutes
  • Recovery Time Objective (RTO) of 30 minutes

Omni-Assistant Standard customers receive:

  • An availability guarantee of 99.5% - a maximum 4 hours of downtime per month
  • Recovery Point Objective (RPO) of 30 minutes
  • Recovery Time Objective (RTO) of 4 hours
